Terms of Service

Article 1

Purpose

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the zodiac and saju based entertainment content provided by ByulBTI (the "Service"), the rights and obligations of users and the company, and other necessary matters.

Article 2

What the Service offers

The Service provides entertainment content based on Western astrology and Korean saju (Four Pillars of Destiny).

Daily Horoscope: daily readings for all 12 signs
ByulBTI: a test combining MBTI and your zodiac sign
Birth Chart: an in-depth reading of your Sun, Moon, Rising and elements
Saju: saju read together with your stars
Star Match: compatibility read through the stars
Tarot: astrology-guided tarot readings
Nebula AI chat: real-time conversational readings

All results are for reference only and do not replace advice from medical, legal, financial or psychological professionals.

Article 3

Stardust and payment

Paid readings use an in-app currency called "Stardust". In the Korean version of the Service, Stardust is purchased through KakaoPay.

In the English version of the Service, Stardust is purchased in US dollars through PayPal, processed by PortOne. You can pay with a PayPal balance or with a card through PayPal.

Purchased Stardust can only be used within the Service and is not refunded once used. However, unused Stardust can be refunded within the 7-day withdrawal period under the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Refunds for purchases made in US dollars are returned through PayPal to the original payment method.

Article 4

Service period

Stardust validity: 1 year from the date of payment (unused Stardust expires automatically after 1 year, and any remaining Stardust expires immediately when you delete your account)
Delivery of results: the result screen appears within 1 minute after 1 Stardust is deducted
Storage of results: you can reopen results on your profile page for 1 year (deleted immediately when you delete your account)
Payment type: one-time payments only, no automatic renewal or subscription

Under the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the payment processors' merchant terms, the service period for digital content is set to a maximum of 1 year.

Article 5

Your obligations

Do not register or misuse another person's date of birth or personal information without permission
Do not overuse Service resources with automated scripts, crawling or similar means
Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes such as hate speech, defamation or fraud against others

Article 6

Disclaimer

Horoscope, compatibility, personality and saju interpretations provided by the Service are for entertainment and their accuracy is not guaranteed. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on the results, and to the extent permitted by law, the company is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Service.

Article 7

Suspension and changes to the Service

The company may change or suspend part or all of the Service as needed for planning, operation and maintenance. Significant changes will be announced in advance within the Service or by email.

Article 8

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised when necessary, and revised terms take effect once posted within the Service. If you do not agree with the revised terms, you may delete your account.
